Cypress Hill is an eponymous studio debut album by American hip hop group Cypress Hill, released on August 13, 1991 by Ruffhouse Records and Columbia Records. It was a critical and commercial success, becoming their second most successful album with over 2 million copies sold and certified double platinum by the RIAA. The album was broken down track-by-track by Cypress Hill in Brian Coleman's book Check Technique .

Steve Huey from AllMusic called Cypress Hill's debut as "the sonic blueprint that will be one of the most copied on hip-hop."
In 1998, the album was selected as one of The Best's 100 Best Rap Albums. This album is included in the 1001 Album book You Should List Before You Die.
Rolling Stone calls it "an innovative and interesting album regardless of its hard-core message."
