Plot
At the end of 1906, the brothers and sisters of Cosmo and Amy Gray had not seen their parents for years, their father was a doctor who had been in Panama while working in the Panama Canal. The housekeeper sent them to see the drama, Peter Pan , but by mistake they finally saw a rather sophisticated family melodrama.
Robert and Alice Gray go home and are not sure what will happen. Children barely know their parents at all. Molly's baby has formed a natural bond with her nanny, and both are reluctant to let Alice come and "take over". Furthermore, the game has given Amy some weird ideas about how adults mature. When she heard Alice accept an invitation to meet Dr.'s family friend Steven Clark, he mistakenly assumes they're doing a romantic date.
Amy appears at Steve all of a sudden, trying to persuade her out of "infidelity." She was forced to hide it in the closet when Alice appeared. Robert has been invited too, but when the gloves are found and Amy's presence is revealed, everyone gets the wrong idea. Alice assumes the doctor sees her daughter, while Robert thinks the doctor is looking at his wife.
