" Unsensitive " is the title track of Jann Arden's 1994 album Living Under June ; hit international single, "Insensitive" remains a career record for Jann. This song is unique in Jann's repertoire because it is a song she recorded that she did not write. The "No Sensitive" Composer is Anne Loree.

Anne Loree will remember writing "Unensitive" in response to an unpleasant tribulation with a chef in a Calgary restaurant where Loree is waiting for a table. "I sat on my electric piano in the basement of a rented house I shared with four roommates, heartbroken and heartbroken, full of pain and anxiety, and wrote 'Not sensitive'.It took less than half an hour and I went feel much better for that and a lot of hipper for Prince Charmings who does not really like you. Even before the successful Canadian charts, "Insensitive" had given Arden a hit in Italy reaching # 14 in December 1994, the success of a song in Italy caused by its use as a jingle in a TV advertising campaign for a jeans brand. "Unensitive" reached # 1 on the Australian charts on August 19, 1996 and also charted in New Zealand at # 44 and England at # 40. At the 1996 Juno Awards "Insensitive" was crowned as Single of the Year.
"Unsensitive" was also included in Jann's biggest hit album of 2001, Greatest Hurts, in both the original and live versions.

For US releases in the US, a prepared video consisting of clips from the Bed of Roses film interspersed with Jann recording sings of songs; Jeth Weinrich directs. The video for "Insensitive" was nominated for Video of the Year at the 1995 Juno Awards.

Jasper Steverlinck remade "Unsensitive" for his 2004 Songs of Innocence album. Popular Podcast "How to Do Everything" made by NPR news quiz producer "Wait Wait... Do not Tell Me!" show songs in a series of podcasts. The song was introduced by a music expert when asked if there was a song that he liked, but understood horribly. It started a segment in the podcast titled "Best-Worst Song Competition" in which listeners sent songs they enjoyed secretly, but know generally regarded as a bad song.
