Sinopsis

Because the Trotters lost their luck due to the fall of the Central American market, Del Boy has been driving for Boycie. As he and Marlene prepare to go to a relative's marriage, Boycie boasts Del about how he will become a millionaire when he travels to France within a month to sign a multi-millionaire deal with an Iranian businessman, and will not make the same mistake that made Del. Sick of boasting Boycie, Del gets his revenge on Boycie by wringing the onion tub into his hair gel (Boycie can not kiss him because he has a cold). Meanwhile, at Nelson Mandela House, Del bought twenty Slovak log-in gas fires and a letter arrived addressed to the deceased Uncle Albert who informed him of a naval reunion in a village in France.

Some time later at The Nag's Head, pregnant Raquel and Cassandra join Del and Rodney in a conversation about how Albert's life and love life resembles Captain Corelli's Mandolin movie , before Raquel showed Del Albert's letter. Since Albert has died, Rodney states that they represent Albert at the reunion and spread his ashes at sea. Del agrees, but also has other things in mind, such as asking Denzil and Trigger to travel with them on a Denzil truck, to allow them to buy the large amount of duty-free alcohol they can sell to Sid at the pub.

On the ferry to France, Del and Rodney spread Albert's ashes into the sea. They arrived in France and went to St. Claire a la Chappelle where they meet another soldier named George Parker. In the cafe, when George told them about how many Albert women, Trotter's brothers saw that some of the men in the village had a striking resemblance to Albert (who brought Del claimed they had to change the name of "Trottersville" village). Meanwhile, Denzil and Trigger are waiting for Del in the wine cellar.

After the reunion, the Trotters return to the ferry port and meet Denzil and Trigger in the wine cellar, where they load Denzil trucks with a duty free Saint-Omer beer to bring back to England with them.

That night, back to Nelson Mandela House, while storing beer in Del's garage, Denzil and Trigger found an illegal immigrant behind the Denzil truck. The Trotter brothers headed to the garage and investigated. They can not find the man's name because he does not speak English. Del and Rodney took him to the flat and introduced him to Raquel, Damien, and Cassandra as "Gary", a friend whom Rodney met at night school. A few moments later, Boycie appeared asking to stay in the flat, because the gas leak from the fire-log fire Del sold had filled his home with gas, and the fire brigade had evacuated the entire road. Marlene and Tyler stayed at her mother's house, which would not allow Boycie to stay because of a wedding dispute caused by onion purà ©  © e Del being squeezed into Boycie's hair gel. Feeling guilty, Del was reluctant to allow Boycie to stay.

A few days later, the fire brigade allowed Boycie to return to his home, and he asked Del to drive him to France the following week so he could sign the contract. Rodney suggests bringing "Gary" back with them, but Boycie tells them that Damien has taken him playing soccer with his friends and he has not been seen since. The Trotters drove Boycie to France with a van (which Del wanted to fill with cheaper alcohol), while news reports featuring "Gary" revealed his real name to become Rashid Mamoon (he worked in a wine cellar and loaded Denzil's truck when Del accidentally trapped him under a few beer boxes), and that the police were looking for "Gary Gang". When Del, Rodney, and Boycie arrived in France, they met with Iranian business partner Boycie, Mr. Mamoon, who introduced them to his son, Rashid. Believing the trio is there to demand ransom, Rashid panics and Boycie's claims and Trotter's brothers are kidnappers. Mr. Mamoon called the police and Del, Rodney and Boycie were arrested for kidnapping.

Note

  • St. Claire a la Chappelle is fictional for film purposes and is actually not anywhere in France, but there is a chapel in France called Chappelle de St Clair, but this is just a chapel and there is no city in the middle of rural French farming.
