Don Pepijn Schipper (born February 27, 1980), better known by his stage name Don Diablo , is a Dutch DJ, record producer, musician, singer and songwriter of electronic dance music from Coevorden. He is known for his electronic production style and voices in most of his songs. He was ranked 11th in the Top 100 DJ - 2017 list by DJ Mag . He is also ranked number one Future House Artist of the Year at Beatport in 2016.

Schipper was born in Coevorden, The Netherlands on February 27, 1980. He started early with music, signing his first recording contract at the age of fifteen. At the end of 2005 Diablo established his own record label and brand show, Sellout Sessions, which raised his profile in his native Netherlands. Success followed soon after with underground hits like "Blow", "Who's Your Daddy", "Pain Is Temporary, Pride Is Forever", "Hooligan" and "Animale". "Blow" is the first single to create a big buzz on the international club scene getting licensed to more than ten countries. He also completed his studies to earn a bachelor's degree in journalism.

1997-2005: Initial & amp; 2Faced

Diablo has played in Canada, England, USA, Australia, Japan, Brazil, and Israel. He has played in clubs and festivals including the club "Passion" in London as a guest DJ in 2002, Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Dancevalley, Godskitchen, Impulz, Mysteryland, Creamfields, Haoman 17, Turnmills, Summer Chasing, Innercity, Northern Lights, Extrema Outdoorn, ElectroNation and Razzmatazz and Space in Ibiza. He has produced for a variety of artists including Kelis, Alex Clare, Diplo, Example, Dragonette, Noisia, Rox, Sidney Samson, Swimming Pool Ou Est Le and remixes for Bastille, Birdy, Tinie Tempah, Mika, The Chemical Brothers, Cassius, Gorillaz, Public Enemy, Iggy Pop, Plump DJs. According to North American music blog aggregator The Hype Machine, he was named the "Most Blog Artist" in the world several times.

In 2004, he launched his separate music project entitled Divided. The project has two hits "The Music, the People" credited to Divided Diablo featuring in 2004, followed by "Easy Lover" in 2005, credited to Diablo Presenting Divided, a dance remake of a hit alongside Philip Bailey and Phil Collins in the year 1985, Divided Remake comes after twenty years of original release.

2006-2009: Life Is A Festival

In 2006, Diablo was licensed to the UK's top 3 hit chart "Exceeder" by Mason. The record was originally signed for Middle of the Road, a record label made by Diablo and Amsterdam-based club promoter Roy Avni (Electro Nation). In 2008, Diablo released his debut album "Life is a Festival". In 2009, "Hooligan", a collaboration with British singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer Example, reached number 15 on the UK Dance Chart.

2010-2013

In 2010, a collaboration with Dragonette resulted in the hit singles "Animale" mapped in Dutch Singles Chart as well as Belgian Ultratip charts.

In 2013 Diablo released new songs on Axenna Axwell's label, Nicky Romero's Protocol Recordings, Steve Angello's X Size trail and Spinnin 'record label. He created the theme song for the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins .

The song "Starlight (Could You Be Mine)", made with UK DJ/producer Matt Nash, was captured during the last concert at the Swedish Mafia Building, after Axwell signed it to his label. The song became Beatport Top 5 hit, and then several other releases reached Beatport Top 10. The music video, directed by Kyle Padilla, was published on February 7, 2014, about seven months after the song's release.

During 2013 Pete Tong debuted six of Don's releases on his BBC Radio 1 show. He has a residency at the Las Vegas nightclub "Light", playing the closing party of Ibiza Departures with Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, and traveling the UK with Nicky Romero. He performed a sold-out solo tour in Asia and the United States.

In 2014, Diablo aired his new visual concept "The Hexagon" with a Los Angeles-based visual company "VSquared Labs".

In October 2014, Diablo made his debut on the DJ Top 100 DJ DJ list in No. 1. 82. In October 2015, Diablo was awarded the "highest climber of the year" award from DJ Magazine, jumping 52 places to No. 1. 30 on the Top 100 DJ List for 2015.

Diablo launched his Hexagon record label. The first release, remix of Alex Adair "You Make Me Feel Better" was held no. 1 position in Beatport for nearly two weeks and the label was awarded the "best new label of the year".

By 2015, its HEXAGON radio show aired in over 35 countries and holds the top 10 positions in the iTunes podcast section every week.

Diablo has directed all his own music videos In 2013, Warner Brothers asked Don to create a world theme song for the famous Batman: Arkham Origins game. The accompanying songs and videos became a viral hit; it's seen millions of times on YouTube.

In 2015 Diablo collaborated with fellow Dutch DJ TiÃÆ' Â «sto on the song" Chemicals "featuring vocals from Danish singer and producer Thomas Troelsen.

Throughout 2016 and 2017, Diablo went on the Across Europe Tour, which was sold out in several places including his first major event in London.

2017 - Now: Remixes & amp; FUTURE

In 2017, Don Diablo went on the last part of his tour and also released his album Past.Present.Future , a compilation of previously released songs.

Artist # 1 at Top100 Poll DJMag, DJ/Dutch producer Don Diablo is quickly becoming a major force to be reckoned with. After printing some hits in Beatport with notes like "On My Mind," "Universe," "Anytime," "Chemicals" (with Tiesto), and "Cutting Shapes"; Don is working on his upcoming artist album for 2017.

Solid global tour schedule has made him play on Mainstages from Tomorrowland, EDC, Creamfields, Mysteryland, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Music Festival while selling his Headline Artist show in UK, USA & amp; European Market.

On March 17, 2017, Don Diablo launched a new collaboration with MARNIK and Galantis' unaccredited No Money singer, Reece Bullimore entitled, Children of a Miracle.

On September 6, 2017, Don Diablo released a single with Nashville singer/songwriter Holly Winter, entitled "Do not Let Go".

On October 22, Diablo teased the collaboration of Alan Walker.

In November 2017, Diablo released "Take Her Place" with an electronic trio of ARIZON A. He announced via Instagram that he will release his first album in 10 years, entitled "FUTURE", accompanied by a world tour that will start in the first half of 2018.

On December 15th, she released her sixth single, titled "You Can not Change Me".

On January 19th, she released her seventh single for FUTURE titled "People Say" with actor/songwriter Paije Richardson.

On March 13th, she released her eighth single to FUTURE titled "Head Up" with singer James Newman.

On April 1st, she released her ninth single for FUTURE titled "Believe" (available in deluxe edition) with actor/singer-songwriter Ansel Elgort.

On April 25th, she released her tenth single for FUTURE titled "Give Me Love" with singer Calum Scott.

Her second studio album, Future , was released through her Hexagon label on February 9, 2018.

Philanthropy

Diablo is the first ambassador for Dance4Life, a UN-backed international action campaign against HIV and AIDS. Diablo traveled to South Africa to visit some of Dance4Life's affiliate projects in Johannesburg and Cape Town. MTV Networks records an intense documentary about Don's visit to these projects.

Furthermore, in 2018, Don Diablo's tour has a great charity aspect, as all ticket proceeds are set to be donated to the Dutch Cancer Society.
