Ryan Sohmer (born ( 1978-07-05 ) July 5, 1978) is a Canadian writer and entrepreneur. Sohmer writes webcomics Least I Could Do and Search Groups . Sohmer is Vice President/Creative Director Blind Ferret Entertainment and owner of The 4th Wall , comic book shop in Montreal, Quebec until closing on September 30, 2014. He lives in Montreal, Quebec.

Careers
Least I Could Do (LICD) is a comedy-comedy comedy that began on February 10, 2003. Originally published in black and white and renewed five days a week, but has now moved to become a colorful strip published seven days a week with the entry of the Sunday strip, Least I Could Do Do Beginnings which debuted on November 9, 2008.
Looking for Group (LFG) is a comedy comic webcomic that began on November 6, 2006, and was drawn by his artist, Lar DeSouza. It's published in a colorful comic book page format and updated twice a week; Monday and Thursday.
Launched in June 2010, ending December 2014, Gutters parodies the comic industry and its character. Comics take the form of a stand-alone page, written by Sohmer but illustrated by different artists. The comics are updated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Awards
Sohmer has been nominated for two Harvey Awards in 2009 for Best On-Line Comics and Comics Comics, as well as Joe Shuster Award for Webcomics in 2009 and is a co-winner of the 2008 Shuster Award for Webcomics Creator/Creative Team along with his artist Lar DeSouza. Sohmer and DeSouza, along with the staining of Ed Ryzowski, were also nominated for a total of six Harvey Awards 2011 for The Gutters.
