Aldean was born in Macon, Georgia. His parents separated when he was three years old. She was raised by her mother in Macon, and during the summer she will spend time with her father in Homestead, Florida. Before his father went to work he would map a guitar chord on notebook paper to show Jason where to put his fingers to play chords, and the boy would sit and practice all day while his father was at work. When his father came home, he took out his own guitar and they played together. Soon he can play the song after hearing it only a few times. His first favorites include George Strait's "The Cowboy Rides Away", Hank Williams Jr. "The Blues Man", and Alabama's "My Home's Alabama".
Both parents encourage young Aldean as he progresses in music. From the age of 14, after watching a country music award on television, he wanted to perform on stage. With the help of her mother, she performed in the local VFW hall in Macon. He sang John Anderson's song "Seminole Wind" and "Tongkat and Batu" by Tracy Lawrence. He then began performing in regional talent contests and local fair. At the age of 15, he joined the "band house" at Georgia nightspot Nashville S.
To stand out, Aldean changed the spelling of his middle name, Aldine, to make Aldean's name. "

Musical career
After high school, with the help of his father, Aldean and his band performed at clubs and festivals around Southeast. With Justin Weaver (one of the band members), Aldean started writing and recording original songs. In 1998, he performed songs from his first album at a performance staged by Atlanta's Buckboard nightclub. He was approached by Michael Knox, then from the Warner-Chappell-publishing company. After signing a contract with Warner-Chappell, Aldean moved to Nashville on November 1, 1998, at the age of 21.
Aldean was offered a record deal but was later canceled. He signed a contract with another label but was dropped again in 2000 after his label postponed his recording session repeatedly. Various displays failed to bring him a contract. The final straw is an attempt at the Wildhorse Saloon where the promised label talent scouts never appear. Still frustrated and desperate with his struggling career, Aldean gave himself six months before planning to leave Nashville and return to Georgia. Then five weeks later, he was offered a deal from Broken Bow Records in Nashville. Shortly after releasing his own debut album, Aldean took on a new (and current) Kevin Neal agent. Subsequently, while recording Almost , Aldean moved to Clarence Spalding and Spalding Entertainment for management.
